This book was required for my class. It is one of the more poorly written casebooks I have come across in law school. The notes after the cases often served more as a confusion point or were unnecessarily long. The cases were edited fairly well with a few exceptions. You will likely need a supplement to use in conjunction with this book in order to understand what is going on.

This is one of my favorite casebooks! It is well-written, laid out in a logical order, and the cases in it are interesting and easy to read (as far as legal cases go).

Best book I've ever read, great light read for a morning commute or a trip to the beach. I find the protagonist, Cardozo, particularly compelling. Honestly inspiring.

Wow, what an INTERESTING book! Great summer reading. Take it to the beach! Take it to the lake! Do bicep curls with it. Would totally recommend to family and friends. Not enough admiralty law though.
