This book is very helpful even if you know the Kindle Paperwhite (1st Edition). The 2nd Edition Paperwhite has Goodreads on it that the first one doesn't have. But this book shows you how to link up with Wi-Fi and also with 3G when Wi-Fi is not available. It shows you how to categorize your books so that you can find them easier than to fumble through the device to find the ebook that you want to read. Even if you know the Kindle Paperwhite, this book you will find other things that you didn't know the Paperwhite had. Very recommended.

At past 80 years old, I felt I needed really simple instructions on how to use my Kindle Paperwhite. Kindle Paperwhite for Dummies really filled the bill, and was well worth the price.. I feel it was much more helpful than the User's Guide that is provided free.

You can say all you want about on screen help when it come to trouble shooting a problem. Please give me a book I can hold and I don't have to go from screen to screen to get an answer. I know it's old fashioned - but in some cases - so am I.

I am a Kindle and technology "Dummy." I need instructions in printed form so that I can flip around looking for answers to any questions that might occur to me. All devices should come with printed manuals. Those available on the devices are hard for me to browse and to readily find hints and suggestions for operations. This book fills my needs.

It was a dumb idea to get this as an ebook. No easy way to find questions and answers. Maybe I'll ask Amazon if I can trade it in for a hard copy. The answers I found were quantities more than the questions I had. Kindle software is much much richer than I expected.

I'm glad I got this book. I'm not new to Kindle; I have an ancient 2nd Generation which worked fine, but I wanted to upgrade. There are so many different things about my Paperwhite than my 2nd Gen that this book really helped me eliminate the "play with it" stage (which, admittedly, is very fun) and really get down to enjoying my Kindle. Oh, I still "play with" the different options, but it really shortened the learning curve.The book is written in very friendly, down to earth language and is very easy to understand. I'd highly recommend!
