This story did not disappoint. Sergi and Em's journey to Russia bring Elena back into his life and his daughter Liza. When Sergi meets Liza she did not know that Elena was her mother or that Sergi was her father. She was very angry at Elena. She loved Sergi right away. And, she felt close to Emily. The story continues when Elena and Liza come to the US. The stay at Em's house. There are more highs and very many lows. Losing Liza on a train in Boston because she ran ahead of Emily and then the subsequent fallout with Elena was very hard on Em and Sergi. Elena decides that Sergi will never see Liza again, she is taking her back to Russia and will fight to keep Sergi away. Emily and Sergi are horrified. If Emily can't talk to Elena about this then the only thing to do is to break up with Sergi. She tells this to Elena and her heart is breaking all over again.Everything works out. Elena is going to stay in New York at Liza's old school and arena. She will let Liza seeLiSergi and Emily. They are married and Liza is a flower girl. Elena is there too but in the background. This book was so wonderful. NO sex only wonderful chemistry. They will get their happy ending after all. Now to read the last book. Again...

A refreshing story of love without the characters jumping into bed every third page without a detailed description.The story will touch your heart, have you smiling within and have you on the "Edge"of your seat. Is not literary fiction, but then, it is also wise enough not to pretend to be... at first it all seems kinda way too trite, but I did feel compelled to read to the end to see how the thing turns out, which I guess is a hallmark of successful storytelling. As arrogantly as my eyes kept rolling with each page turn through the beginning of this "fluff", I have to say that I couldn't keep them from tearing up during the emotional rollercoaster ride at the end. I think the author did a respectable job with this... the main character's agony of vacillation before her final brutal decision totally drew me in as did also the passion of her lover...and it was all managed with the plainest and most generic - yes, but also the most unselfconscious use of language. Actually the book's cover art shown right here shows you pretty well the depth or lack thereof of emotion and imagination you can expect to find within.
